In 2015, more than 1,000 of you attended a convening and made a commitment to use your skills and training to build the power of organizing to protect and defend Black-led movements. Since that time, this network has grown to over 6,000 radical lawyers, legal workers and law students.

We have accomplished a lot together in five years. You helped bail out hundreds of Black Mamas across the country. You were there when we hosted Freedom Labs across the country with organizers as they prepared for invest/divest campaigns. Last summer, when millions of people took to the streets in defense of Black Lives, you showed up providing the support, legal services and expertise needed. After all that we’ve done, we are making it official.
