We believe being grounded in a clear set of political principles and ideologies is essential to our work as movement lawyers. Organizers from across the country will lead 90-minute political education sessions, which will give attendees foundational knowledge of the concepts and values underlying our work, including: abolition of prisons, borders, and the family regulation system, internationalism, anti-capitalism, and the demand for reparations.

We ended our time together with a series of inspiring bite-sized talks by visionary leaders. The RAD talks, originally piloted at our 2015 conference, will surface radical ideals, deepen our imagination and expand the horizon of what is possible.
