Law for Black Lives membership is a space for lawyers, law students, jailhouse lawyers, legal workers, paralegals, policy advocates, and academics to come together to advance the shared mission of transforming the legal field, transforming the law, and supporting Black-led organizing.
With a refreshed membership model focused on Community and Cultivation, we are excited to provide an intentional experience tailored to meet you where you are in your movement lawyering practice or advocacy while offering intentional pathways for you to grow and share your knowledge.

Each Crew has distinct roles and responsibilities, allowing members to contribute in the areas where they feel most passionate and skilled. Crew members may facilitate digital community conversations, host events and other gatherings, train, create materials and resources, or lead outreach and recruitment efforts. Crews are a way for members to contribute to movement work.
Each Crew fosters direct involvement in shaping L4BL’s programming and direction, connecting your legal, advocacy, education, and facilitation skills with collective goals.
